PeaceCapacity Staff


Amel Sa’eed Ismail is the Marketing and Research Officer at Transparency Solutions (TS). She graduated from the University of Hargeisa in May 2014 and subsequently worked for the Edna Adan Hospital Foundation and Action Aid International before moving to TS in 2016.

Amel is a graduate of the High Quality Research Support (HQRS) programme, a research training programme run by the University of Bristol, TS and Observatory for Conflict and Violence Prevention. She holds the Secretariat function of Hufnaan, a Somali Accountability Network, funded by the British Government’s Department for International Development whose current work is aiming to lay the foundations for a “Champions of Accountability” campaign across Somalia. She is a researcher on the EU-CIVCAP project and has co-facilitated PeaceCapacity workshops in Somaliland, in partnership with the University of Bristol.
